HB9TVR • Rolf Senn
On-Island Operator, Head SSB Operator, Spiderbeams, Tower
Rolf was born in Uetendorf, near Thun. Yolanda has two sons, Raphael and Mikel. Since 1993 he has been an independent contractor in the area of animal facilities and specializes in the construction of aviaries.
Rolf is very active in SSB and the digital modes. He enjoys operating SSB in contests and DXing. He is a member of the Union of Swiss Shortwave Amateurs (USKA) and the Swiss DX Foundation (SDXF). In addition to ham radio, his other hobbies include ocean sailing, flying model planes, and animals such as parrots, ponies, dogs, turtles and more.

 According to the "World Lighthouse On The Air" Program, there is a lighthouse on Côn Có Island that is valid for WLOTA awards. We have been informed that QSOs with 3W6C will be valid for WLOTA #2557 after receipt of validation. Read more on the WLOTA program on their web site. |
