On-Island Operator, Communications, Correspondence, QSL Card
Christina is 57 years old and is the partner of René, HB9BQI. She has been a teacher for 35 years.
Licensed in 1978 she enjoys DXing and contesting in SSB, sometimes also in CW. She is a member of the USKA branch in Zug, Helvetia Telegraphy Club (HTC), Swiss DX Foundation (SDXF) and the Slovak Amateur Radio association (SARA). She was the secretary of the Swiss RTTY Club and HTC and now looks after the finances of the SDXF.
As a member of the 3B7RF expedition in 1998 and of the 3B6 expedition in 2001, she was responsible for food, beverages and accommodations. She is very sought after for the YL diploma.
In her leisure time she enjoys playing the piano and Swiss accordion.

 According to the "World Lighthouse On The Air" Program, there is a lighthouse on Côn Có Island that is valid for WLOTA awards. We have been informed that QSOs with 3W6C will be valid for WLOTA #2557 after receipt of validation. Read more on the WLOTA program on their web site. |
