Pilot - South America
Cicero is married, has three daughters and five grandchildren. He is a retired captain in the Brazilian Army, and he also practiced law. He has been a ham since 1975.
"Ciro" spends most of his time operating in CW. He is a member of the DXCC Honor Roll and has been dedicated to IOTA DXpeditions, having participated in operations including those to Saint Peter & Saint Paul (PW0S in 2001), Trindade Island (PW0T in 2002), several operations in Fernando of Noronha Island (PY0F) and additional IOTA efforts such as to SA-023, SA-046, SA-080 and SA-062. He is also the team leader of the upcoming DXpedition to Lençóis Island (SA-041) scheduled for June 2010.

 According to the "World Lighthouse On The Air" Program, there is a lighthouse on Côn Có Island that is valid for WLOTA awards. We have been informed that QSOs with 3W6C will be valid for WLOTA #2557 after receipt of validation. Read more on the WLOTA program on their web site. |
